Rising to approximately 590 meters (1,936 ft) above sea level, Jbel Bouhlal is covered with olive and fig trees, creating a peaceful setting for hiking, mountain walking, and eco-tourism. Its scenic trails provide the perfect escape for visitors seeking tranquility, fresh air, and stunning natural scenery

The mountain is also known for its historic "Tachta" tree, a centuries-old tree that stood for nearly 360 years before it eventually fell. Jbel Bouhlal also preserves the memory of the historic visit of His Majesty King Mohammed V, adding significant cultural and historical value to the site. Today, it is considered one of the most promising destinations for sustainable mountain tourism in the province of Ouazzane
